The Role
As a Senior Strategic Account Executive, you’ll be pivotal in driving MakeShift’s growth by executing and refining our go-to-market strategy within the SAP ecosystem and large enterprise space.
You'll engage with senior partners like SAP, C-level clients, and key decision-makers to uncover opportunities and manage complex, high-value deals from initiation to closure.
Responsibilities
Lead the execution of MakeShift’s go-to-market (GTM) strategy in partnership with SAP, with a strategic focus on expanding market share, driving large-scale enterprise deals, and increasing revenue.
Manage and own the entire sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to negotiating and closing multi-million-dollar deals with senior decision-makers.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans, focusing on complex, long-term deals that align with client business objectives and deliver measurable ROI.
Leverage a variety of strategies, including cold outreach, executive presentations, and industry events, to build a robust sales pipeline and foster relationships with C-level executives.
Collaborate closely with internal teams—product, client success, marketing, and support—to ensure a seamless onboarding process, client satisfaction, and long-term retention.
Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with SAP leadership, VPs, and AEs, driving joint go-to-market success and identifying co-selling opportunities.
Mentor and influence internal teams, contributing to marketing and communication campaigns that strengthen MakeShift’s position in the market and drive growth.
Continuously deepen your industry expertise, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to clients, and drive consultative sales that maximize value for their organizations.
Requirements
15+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a track record of closing large, strategic deals within complex organizations—SAP experience strongly preferred.
Deep experience in business development, especially in HR solutions like scheduling and time management, with a history of success in engaging with C-level stakeholders.
Proven expertise in managing large sales pursuits, from lead generation and qualification to the negotiation and closing of multi-million-dollar deals.
Impeccable communication skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers and build long-term client partnerships.
Known for your strategic thinking, initiative, and perseverance, with a strong ability to lead and exceed sales targets in dynamic, high-growth environments.
Candidates must successfully complete a criminal background check prior to starting in this role.
