Description

MakeShift is looking for a talented and motivated Account Executive to drive revenue growth by hunting for new business opportunities and building a pipeline of potential customers, as well as nurturing relationships with partners to drive leads. You will get to work with a passionate and supportive team, but most importantly you will play an integral role in the next stage of our growth story.

Responsibilities: 

  • Generate revenue by executing MakeShift’s go-to-market (GTM) strategy with partners.

  • Manage the sales cycle from prospecting through to qualifying, selling, and closing new business.

  • Identify potential leads via networking, cold calling, e-mailing, trade shows, marketing events, social selling, and/or other sources and develop relationships with potential buyers through personal meetings, presentations, speaking engagements, and/or other business or social gatherings.

  • Build and maintain relationships with partners like ADP to drive leads and increase revenue.

  • Track and document all interactions in CRM.

  • Work with the internal product, client success, marketing, and support teams to exceed the client’s expectations to earn and maintain the client’s trust.

  • Promote and facilitate the development of communication and marketing campaigns.

  • Stay current on all market and competitive developments.

  • Be a subject matter expert on scheduling for our targeted industries.

  • Provide regular updates to management on sales activity and pipeline progress.

Requirements: 

  • Grit, initiative, and perseverance.

  • 5+ years of sales experience selling B2B SaaS with a strong bias towards hunting and building pipeline.

  • Experience in business development with a focus on HR solutions, namely scheduling and time.

  • Experience with sales pursuit management, lead generation, deal qualification, and deal shaping.

  • Experience with HubSpot CRM and sales tools.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).

  • English required. French a bonus.
