The Role

We are seeking an experienced PMP Certified Project Manager to join our Implementation Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex technology implementation and delivery projects for our enterprise customers.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring successful deployment of MakeShift's solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex technology implementation projects for MakeShift's enterprise customers from inception to completion.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk register, and budgets ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.

  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams, including engineering, product, and client success, as well as external stakeholders.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly to maintain project momentum.

  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to all relevant parties.

  • Ensure client satisfaction throughout the implementation process, managing expectations and addressing concerns.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to support the pre-sales process when needed.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of MakeShift's implementation methodologies and best practices.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in managing complex technology implementation and delivery projects for enterprise customers.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with workforce management, HR systems, or SaaS implementations preferred.

  • PMP certification or equivalent is an asset.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an area such as Business, Communications, Economics, Information technology, or similar.

  • Candidates must successfully complete a criminal background check prior to starting in this role.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with HR systems e.g. SAP SuccessFactors, SAP S/4, Oracle Fusion, Workday.

  • Knowledge of workforce management or scheduling solutions.

  • Experience in the tech startup environment.
